“Action Sports fans live and breathe the X Games culture and community. The X Games continues to be the stage where the world’s top athletes unleash their never-been-done trick after years of preparation. These moments define careers and have built an industry that has rooted itself among the mainstream fan. Starting in 2013, X Games will expand to six events (4 Summer; 2 Winter) around the globe. Each event will integrate elements of culture that are intrinsic to action sports athlete and fan lifestyle. All competition and cultural elements will be showcased across ESPN’s multimedia national and international footprint. As part of the X Games Global initiative, Xgames.com will launch as a new home for all things action sports and continue our digital companion screen, X Cast, live from all events.
